Find the mismatch before changing the prompt
| What you notice | First thing to check |
|---|---|
| The face looks different from the first frame | Is the reference small, filtered, obstructed or strongly side-on? Try a sharper, more neutral portrait. |
| It starts well, then changes during a turn | Review the scene sample. Turning, occlusion and camera motion can expose angles absent from one reference photo. |
| Two people blend together or switch sides | Check separate portraits and their left/right slot order. Avoid a group photo in either slot. |
| The face looks unexpectedly older or stylized | Remove conflicting age, makeup, face-shape or heavy style requests before comparing another result. |
Compare one change at a time
Save the original result
Download the completed video and note the moment where the face changes. Inspect the beginning, middle and end, including any head turn.
Improve the weakest input
If the face is unclear in the photo, replace that photo first. Keep the same scene and quality so you can compare the effect of the new reference.
Simplify extra requests
If the photo is already clear, remove requests that change facial features. Keep any expression or style instruction brief and consistent with the selected scene.
Decide whether another attempt is worthwhile
Review the new face and movement against the saved result. Each new submitted generation uses a video creation; there is no guaranteed likeness correction on a retry.
Work with the selected scene
Studio uses the selected template to guide the action and camera. Asking for a completely different location, camera move and performance at once creates competing directions. Choose the closest available scene first, then use additional requests for a small expression or style adjustment.
Higher output resolution can give a larger image, but it does not guarantee better identity preservation. Inspect the eyes, jawline, mouth and hairline through the whole clip instead of judging only its first frame.
Know when to stop retrying
If clear portraits and simpler requests still produce an unsuitable face, save the result and contact support with the task ID and a short description. Avoid repeated paid attempts without a specific input to improve. A completed result with unwanted likeness is different from a confirmed technical failure; check the applicable policy before expecting a restored creation.
FAQ
Can a prompt guarantee that my face stays identical?
No. A short, consistent instruction may help, but likeness depends on the reference, the selected scene and the model's generated frames.
Should I add several photos of myself?
Follow the roles shown in Studio. A second person slot is not an extra reference slot for the first person.
